Today frequent visitor Kylie Jenner added one more tribute to the mix. In the first collection of her swimwear line Kylie Swim, Jenner released a swimsuit entitled ‘Caicos’, which sold out within four hours along with the Kylie and August styles.
While it is undisclosed what about the Caicos Islands inspired the designers’ creative direction, we see bright orange and pink gradients, ignoring doom and gloom Earth tones Autumn collections usually bring.
Most of the released swimsuits feature full body cutouts, shuffling to make more room for one-piece suits to flourish, remaining desirable to the ‘gen pop’. Jenner looking out for the fashionable moms, released a kids version of her suits including the Mini Caicos style.
While autumn is upon us, in Turks we wear our swims all year round. Additionally, with the unexpected ‘affordable’ price tag (most expensive item is $85 USD) so it may be worth indulging in. The launch collection also sports bikinis and sarongs, which have taken a surge in mainstream fashion this year.
Hopefully Jenner returns to the TCI soon with a couple Caicos suits in tow for a Kylie Swim pop-up shop.
