Turks and Caicos, sports is back (technically) as training for select teams including the TCI Amateur Athletic Association have restarted. But most excitingly for us, are the 2021 CARIFTA Trials which kicked off yesterday.
For the two-day event May 7th-8th, our Under 17 and Under 20 athletes are gathering at the National Stadium in Providenciales, all vying to be selected for the National Team. This star-studded team will compete at the CARIFTA Games 2021 on August 13-15 in Bermuda.
While we’re sure everyone would love to go out and support the athletes live, strict COVID-19 protocols are enforced so no spectators will be permitted on the premises. Show your support for the athletes and show that your sportsmanship spirit is alive and kicking, with comments in the stream!
You don’t want to miss the second and final day of the trials today starting at 8:30 AM EST sharp with sought after events like the 100M dash finals.
